New Feature: Bookmarking

Bonsoir! Bouquin has begrudgingly1 decided to help out with a new bookmarking system.

Now you should be able to see two tabs on Bouquin. You can click this tab in order to save the current page you are on. As long as you don’t (as I’m told) “clear your cookies,” it will be saved for a long time! I’m not sure why you would want to get rid of your cookies2, unless they were mouldy. Then you should get rid of them before they become a health hazard.

You can use this tab to return to the page that you saved. I know, I know. This function doesn’t serve that much purpose right now, given how little of the biography I’ve drawn, but I’ve bribed Bouquin to do this so that when it’s actually relevant, I’ll already have it done.

You’re going to take that line and chide me about drawing more so it becomes useful, aren’t you?3

As always, I am trying to make your reading experience better. Don’t forget that you can close the navigation bar if it gets in your way while reading, and clicking the comic itself will bring you to the next one when browsing in the archives.

Yours truly,

Lily's signature

Bouquin’s notes: 1) I do not take kindly to recording the places that strangers left off on when reading me! 2) They are not the same type of baked treat you assume. I would tell you to stop speculating before you make a fool of yourself, but my words run dry, for you already looked like a fool before ever opening your mouth. 3) This should not even be a question.

La Fin: October Madness

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and our update schedule shall return to only Thursdays.

It is unknown when the next updating event will take place, but rest assured, I will work hard for all of you.1

We hope you enjoyed October Madness while it lasted. Thank you for reading.

Slaving away,

Lily's signature

Bouquin’s notes: 1) If you did not already scare our audience away with your lack of competent artistic skills.

October Madness

Bonjour. In celebration for myself being able to concede to a schedule and not buckle under the weight of pressure1, this coming month (from what Bouquin tells me, you fellows call it “Month of the Pumpkin“), I will be updating twice a week – Tuesday and Thursday.

A full month! Are you serious about this, Bouquin2? It’s rather hard to even draw one comic every week. I don’t know if I can do this.3 I mean, you’re not even the one drawing the biography. You don’t even help at all.4

Why am I surrendering to the orders strongly worded advice of a book, anyway?5

Yours truly,

Lily's signature

Bouquin’s notes: 1) One should not be rewarded for completing tasks that they must do in the first place. 2) Affirmative. 3) Then you should not embark on endeavours with which you have no will to complete. 4) I consider allowing you to write upon my parchment as treasured assistance. 5) Cease your scattered thoughts and continue drawing, knave.

Début

I’ve done it now. Are you happy?

Yes, I’m talking to YOU, Bouquin. After enough pestering from you, I’ve finally decided (or, was I threatened?1) to chronicle everything that’s happened so far. It’s been quite a journey, and I suppose I’ve enough knowledge and skill to illustrate everything. I’m no writer, so thankfully, writing an autobiography isn’t so hard… I think2. I don’t think ‘autobiography’ is the appropriate word, but I’m sure whoever is reading this doesn’t need my drivel.

I wonder what Ephelia would think, about me writing her. She would probably just tell me I’m exaggerating things and then proceed to strike me with a nearby object. We’d do well to just keep this a secret from everyone until it’s finished.3 I don’t want Magnus brutally murdering me over this; the goddesses know that I have plenty to write about those two lunatics.

Farewell for now,

Lily's signature

Bouquin’s notes: 1) I did nothing of the sort. 2) You are not an accurate judge of anything, it seems. 3) Why are you writing first to me, then as if you are addressing an audience, and then inferring that I must keep this ‘project’ a secret? Do you have a mental illness? Why are humans so indecisive? ADDENDUM: You are a terrible writer. I loathe to think what kind of eye-searing abomination will spring forth from the fruit of your labours.
